AUTHOR: Mariechen Danz (* 1980 in Dublin, Ireland) studied at the Berlin University of the Arts, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam, and at the California Institute of the Arts, Santa Clarita. Her works have been, among other things, shown at the 16th Istanbul Biennale, the 57th Biennale di Venezia, in the Haus der Kunst Munich, MAK - Museum of Applied Arts Vienna, Center Pompidou Paris, Kunsthaus Bregenz, High Line New York, New Museum New York and in solo exhibitions in the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, GAK Society for Contemporary Art Bremen, CAN Center d'Art Neuchatel and the Kunstverein Goettingen.
