Draft script for the 2012 film musical. From the archive of crew member Chris Scher. Laid in with the script are four bound gatherings of revision pages, dated variously between May 20 and June 13, 2011. Based on the long-running 2005 jukebox musical by Chris D'Arienzo, about a pair of star-crossed lovers who meet on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip. As with the stage play, the film featured numerous rock hits from the 1980s, with songs by Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Poison, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Whitesnake, and others. Chris Scher has worked in American films from 1994 to the present. She was a propmaker, construction accountant/estimator/buyer, and carpenter on over 20 movies, including "The Last Seduction" (1994), "Pulp Fiction" (1994), "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1994), "The Horse Whisperer (1998), "Joy Ride" (2001), and others. She also performed the same work for prestige television dramas, including "The Bridge" (2014), "Ozark" (2017), and "Yellowstone" (2018). Shot on location in Miami, Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and in Los Angeles. Self wrappers. Title page present, dated May 18, 2011, noted as FULL YELLOW, with credits for screenwriters D'Arienzo, Allan Loeb, Jordan Roberts, Michael Arndt, and Justin Theroux. 137 leaves, with last page of text numbered 135. Xerographic duplication on yellow stock, rectos only. Pages about Fine, bound with two gold brads.
