He taught at the Chicago Art Institute and with the American Academy of Art. He is considered by many to be 'The Godfather of Modern Fantasy Art'. His most famous disciples were Roy Krenkel and Frank Frazetta,[1] the latter of whom has also been styled as the grandmaster of the Genre. An excellent book for the art enthusaist, his work was most important to the sword & sorcery and fantasy genra. Rare, only 2000 copies printed as the 1st edition. Very good to excellent, minor scratchs on the covers and top of pages are browning.
