The book is solidly bound from cover to cover. The covers are also solidly bound. The interior of the book is in very good shape. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any soiling. I'm also not seeing any conspicuous creasing, no turned-down corners or placeholder creases. There are no markings. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is in excellent condition. It's very clean, no soiling. There are no tears. There is a slight bit of crinkling at the top edge of the spine. The flaps are in very good condition. The jacket is not priced or clipped. I've always had it in a fitted protective cover. I removed the fitted cover to get a better look at the jacket. I will replace it with a new cover after the photos are scanned. From the dust jacket: 'This book offers a fresh interpretation of medieval South Indian society, and, in particular, the political order, as seen in literary images and Tamil, Telugu, and Sanskrit texts.
