Jules David (Maler), P. Préval, Lamour eux imp, r. st. J de Beauwais, 12 Paris. Jean-Baptiste David (genannt Jules David; 1808-1892) war ein französischer Maler und Lithograph. Seine Illustrationen erschienen in vielen Büchern und Zeitschriften. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Illustrationen zeitgenössischer Pariser Mode. Sprache: Französisch.

Not dated, published c1870-1881, this and my other print came with old note stating 1872. This is for a single sided hand coloured Victorian print No. 1026. Condition mostly Very Good, minimal surface ageing. Some edge ageing. Includes two hand coloured ladies/bonnets, 2 flowing bonnets, one scarf decoration, one neck covering, wrist decoration & a girl with her pull along automation toy(looks like a seated rabbit playing a drum) very unusual. From this rare trade magazine that was published in France & England. Size: 23 x 30cm Approx.
