Originally published in 1876 in England, this is the second volume of Captain Fanny's adventures; she was a young woman who disguised herself as a man to become a sailor. This edition of his novel was published by Grosset & Dunlap in the United States. Original red cloth publisher's covers with black spine and cover lettering, and cover decoration that also includes a pictorial paste on.
