A tea kettle pours forth a jagged plume of steam which envelopes the title, which is lettered in an Art Deco font. The book has a great many interesting recipes, some of them surely familiar, but others, possibly, lost to time. The book is illustrated with black-and-white half-tone photographs, showing table settings, products and the finished results of a few of the recipes. CONDITION -- VERY GOOD -- Clean and serviceable, with the following noted: EXTERIOR -- Compression and abrasion to spine extremities (small loss of surface, exposing mull); moderate abrasion to board edges, soft bumps and moderate abrasion to board corner tips; mild surface rub. Picture on front displays clearly. BINDING -- The book has obviously seen use, but the binding remains solid. INTERIOR -- End-papers display mild discoloration (a production effect), else clean and presentable with but modest signs of use.
