Printed on Dutch Van Gelder paper. Kept in a box. The box is slightly damaged, some offsetting of the engravings to the text pages, but a fine copy, unbound, as it came from the presses. Nice example of a bibliophile illustrated book, printed in a limited edition of 67 copies only for the select Brussels' bibliophile association '' Les Cinquantes''. The colophon, entirely engraved by Albert Delstanche states that all the engravings and woodcut initials and vignettes were pulled by the artist himself. In all there are 21 full page engravings (title and colophon included) and 25 half page engravings, printed in the text. …
