Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Dust Jacket. First Edition. A terrific set of eight volumes, all in excellent condition. Not all authors are named, as there were many contributors. The first volume was issued in 1958, the last in 1964. The books have call numbers on the spines, and the jackets have been discarded but with a… blurb from the front jacket flap taped to the last page (the first one is missing) , but there are absolutely no other library markings, meaning that there are no stampings, The dark red buckram bindings have only slight wear, none structural. Volume 2i has a light stain down one side which does not affect the text. Due to size and weight, any mail delivery other than domestic media mail is unrealistic. ; Ex-library.

First edition. First edition. Signed by Bruce Spittle and inscribed to former owner on title pages of each volume. Complete in three volumes. Bound in publisher's illustrated boards that match the dust jacket design. Fine in Near Fine dust jackets with very light shelf wear. A comprehensive, three-volume survey of alleged sighti…ngs of the giant flightless bird the moa after its official extinction date, circa 1445. Lots of color maps. The author, Bruce Spittle, is a doctor and academic from New Zealand. Truly, no self-respecting cryptozoologist's library is complete without gobs of Spittle.
