The How and Why Wonder Book of Planets and Interplanetary Travel was written by Dr. Harold J. Highland and illustrated by Denny McMains. The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers and is a 1970 Printing and book number 4027 in their series. It is 8 1/2" by 11 1/8", and has 48 pages with a Table of Contents and three - color, color and black-and-white illustrations throughout the book. It's in very good condition and would provide a really nice look for the elementary/early middle school student at the fascinating astronomical subject of planets and interplanetary travel.
