The gold nanoparticles synthesis and characterization using various advanced analytical techniques is carried out in this work. Gold nanoparticles are a new and cost- effective tool for clinical diagnosis in detection and destruction of cancer cell and will have a promising procedure for future. Our strong belief is that the so obtained biofunctionalized particles can be scaled up industrially in a much easier way. Further preliminary, in vivo toxicological studies of these noble metal nanoparticles are carried out and the study conclude that the no_obseved_effect_level (NOEL) was found to be greater than 500 µg/ kg. 196 pp. Englisch.…
