Remy a Reims poi priore di Saint Oricle a Senus. Nel 1096 seguì la crociata in Palestina. L'opera, volgarizzata da Francesco Baldelli, originario di Cortona, noto come traduttore di classici e per aver collaborato alla ''Collana Istorica'' del Giolito, è suddivisa in otto libri e tratta della guerra che contrappose i Principi cristiani ai Turchi per la conquista della Terra Santa. Dedica a stampa a monsignore G.B. Ricasoli. Buon esemplare con preziosa legatura (restauro nel margine inferiore bianco del foglio di titolo; qualche arrossatura), antico timbro di possesso al foglio di titolo.
