Quarto. 95 pp. Black and white and color illustrations throughout. Illustrated dust jacket with original "$3.95" price, plot summary to front flap, and cha…pter titles to rear flap. Illustrated boards. Dust jacket chipped along edges with some creasing. Boards edgeworn, corners bumped, and spine ends nudged with some surface scratching to front. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. The publication of The Visitors From Oz sprang from Dick Martin's chance discovery of a 1904 Baum newspaper comic titled "Queer Visitors from the Marvelous Land of Oz." Jean Kellogg adapted the stories in to book form, though was not credited for her work, and Martin would go on to design and illustrate Oz publications for Reilly & Lee.
