Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. 1st Edition, Illustrated Edition. Presenting most attractively indeed, this 2004 facsimile edition of the famous five Christmas novella stories (including, of course, "A Christmas Carol") tastefully and beautifully reproduces the 1876 Chapman and Hall edition and retains the original illustrations, which are all wonderful to see. The book (published in London by G E Fabbri for their "Dickens Collection") is very clean, bright, and in excellent preservation overall, with lots of shelf appeal. It is without any ownership names or inscriptions, and possesses a sound, secure binding. The only condition point to note - and it's a very minor one - is that the closed page fore-edges are slightly age toned. An appealing presentation, and the marbled endpapers add a nice touch, this is a handsome single volume edition of the fabulous fables. Dimensions: approx. 13cm x 20cm. Landseer; Maclise; Stanfield; Stone; Doyle; Leech; Tenniel (illustratore).…
