En los últimos quince años se ha venido desarrollando una amplia colaboración entre investigadores de diversas disciplinas y activistas de los movimientos de disidencias sexo- genéricas a efectos de promover el análisis de los procesos autoritarios en la península ibérica y el Cono Sur. Fruto de esta cooperación cobró visibilidad toda una gama de violencias sociales y estatales que enfrentaron durante esa etapa lesbianas, homosexuales, travestis y transexualess, formas de persecución y estrategias de sobrevivencia que históricamente habían sido ignoradas y/o naturalizadas. Asuntos todos ellos que abrieron además importantes reflexiones sobre diferentes desafíos teórico-metodológicos. Ese libro busca reflejar ese proceso de intercambio y discusión. De esa forma, en su primera parte se formulan una serie de balances sobre los avances y límites de la reflexión historiográfica en torno a la situación de las disidencias sexo-genéricas y las dictaduras en la península ibérica y el Cono Sur. Luego el libro se adentra en la casi inexplorada problemática de las lesbianas, travestis y transexuales durante las experiencias autoritarias, para cerrarse con varios capítulos en los que se abordan asuntos emergentes dentro de este campo de estudio (disidencias sexo-genéricas y turismo, educación, espacio urbano, prensa y rumor durante las dictaduras). El resultado final es un acercamiento coral y calidoscópico, en donde destacados investigadores de seis países diferentes, ofrecen resultados de investigación que contribuyen en forma significativa a la reflexión sobre este eje temático así como permiten visualizar la existencia de un diálogo intenso entre aspectos locales y trasnacionales que influyeron en los diferentes procesos nacionales abordados. A su vez, las diferentes miradas ponen de manifiesto las visiones androcéntricas, heterosexistas y cisnormativas que habitaban buena parte de los relatos sobre los fenómenos autoritarios y los estudios de memoria. Por ello el acercamiento crítico alcanzado permitió el acceso al pasado a importantes grupos sociales que no contaban hasta ahora con una narración histórica sobre sus propias experiencias durante períodos dictatoriales, algo que tuvo y tiene un importante efecto de reparación simbólica. Por último, las investigaciones aquí presentadas debaten los cambios que son necesario introducir en las periodizaciones frecuentemente usadas a nivel histórico, así como proponen repensar el universo de las víctimas y las jerarquías que durante mucho tiempo operaron informalmente entre ellas, incluso, dentro del propio terreno de los derechos humanos. *** Nota: Los envíos a España peninsular, Baleares y Canarias se realizan a través de mensajería urgente.
