Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book covers a basic level of research on the field of Astrophysics. It will be helpful to those people who want to carry out a research work with simple technique, software. In this research work fits image from IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite) survey is used and for the data processing ALADIN2.5, ORIGIN6.1 and Corel Graphics Suite11 are used. In the present work, we studied a very huge far infrared nebular structure G225 - 66 in 60 and 100 µm IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite) maps and measured dust color temperature, mass and interpreted the result in the context of discrete sources found in the region. Because of its appearance, we named the structure as Dancing Dog , whose Head' and Back Limb' is found to be prominent consisting 14 maxima. The dust color temperature in the region of maxima is found to lie in the range 22.02 K to 25.78K. This is interesting that the temperature offset is very small ( 4 K) in all 14 maxima suggesting a strong association between them. A star cluster, Fornax Globular Cluster, is found in between Head' and Back Limb'. The existence of molecular clouds in the region of interest hints the possibility of star formation.…
