Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book offers a unique perspective on the political climate and historical landscape of ancient Rome during the 5th century BCE. It explores the nuances of Roman society, particularly the struggles between patricians and plebeians, and the evolution of the Republic's institutions. Delving into the complexities of the Roman constitution, the author examines the balance of power between the Senate, the popular assemblies, and the magistracies. The book also delves into the military successes and territorial expansion of Rome, as well as the social and economic challenges that accompanied them. The author argues that the Republic was not merely a product of chance but the result of a deliberate and complex political design shaped by internal conflicts and external pressures. This insightful work contributes to our understanding of the development of one of the most influential civilizations in human history, shedding light on the origins of Roman law, political thought, and military strategy. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. (VD16 L 2611). Diese liegen in Fotokopie bei. - Adams, D 630; Brunet II, 725. Hoffmann I, 586. Lang la.…
