He is notable for having co-edited three Berkshire volumes of the Victoria County History which were published between 1907 and 1924. This copy contains an ink inscription of a previous owner to the front free-endpaper. Bound in publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally, a few marks to the boards and minor shelf wear.
