Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Acceptable. Scarce dust jacket in acceptable condition, with hard cover in good condition, from the collection of Ian Angus, former librarian at King's College, London, and deputy librarian at University College, London, ownership pencilled to FEP. Jacket is notably shelfworn and in two halves with creasing and wear to cover, edges, corners and folds. Open tears are present at spine head and foot, rear jacket base, and along the head. Chips and nicks present and taped repairs are noted. However, the John Milton coloured illustrations to front and rear are unmarked, with the original colours vibrant and true. Boards have wear to edges and corners, slightly bowed at head and bumped corners. Pageblock is tanned and discoloured, this leading into pastedowns and endpapers, with light tanning to textblock edges. Within, the pages are firmly bound, and the content is unmarked and beautifully illustrated throughout with Minton's b/w images. More photographs available upon request. CN. Minton, John (illustratore).…
