This copy is signed (on the rear free endpaper) by all six authors, and is additionally signed by Melvin C. Warren (illustrator) and by John H. Jenkins (publisher and writer of the introduction). All of the signers of this book were notable either as western authors or historians. Melvin C. Warren was an internationally known western illustrator.
