This paper presents an automated tomato grading system using image processing and fuzzy logic, both of which are to be implemented in Matlab. An Arduino UNO microcontroller is to be used for the hardware part as a control mechanism. Image processing is done by the use of L a b colorspacing and K-means clustering. With which the fuzzy logic input will be the number of GOOD pixels in a binarized image. Tomato grading shall be classified in three (3): GOOD, FAIR, and BAD and these outputs are assessed accordingly by the use of fuzzy inference rules. In diesem Beitrag wird ein automatisiertes Tomatensortiersystem mit Hilfe von Bildverarbeitung und Fuzzy-Logik vorgestellt, die beide in Matlab implementiert werden sollen.
