This 19th-century devotional work features a beautifully embossed cover with the title stamped in gold. The cover also showcases a lovely, stamped design on the front cover lending to the beauty of the book and highlights the craftmanship of days gone by. The book showcases its history with previous owners inscriptions, one on the front endpaper dated 1949, and another on an early page dated 1847. The leather like cover has retained its integrity with only very slight signs of age and wear, while the spine and binding remain fully intact. For a book over 180 years old, this copy is in remarkable condition. The interior is clean and largely free of markings, aside from the noted inscriptions. There is foxing throughout, which does not affect readability. All pages are present, with no writing, highlighting, rips, or tears. Corners show only minimal bumping.
