Advertising himself as a "mail-order prophet," Emphasizing the power of God within everybody - Robinson presented himself as a "mail-order prophet," advertised heavily to attract students for his lessons, which were delivered to subscribers bi-monthly. Although quite popular, Psychiana would also face criticism and legal challenges and would cease to exist after Robinson's death. His current book aimed to answer questions such as - "What happens to us when we die? Are we able to recognize friends that have passed on? What purpose does the body serve in our conscious life?" and so on.
