Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. About the Book For most of us, Lord Siva is the supreme cosmic force, eternal, formless, and divine. But Tamil literature, southern folklore, and ancient oral traditions present a different picture. He once lived among our ancestors as a real man, a healer, a teacher, and a com-passionate guide who showed people how to live, understand nature, and ease suffering. Even the Harappan civilization leaves behind traces such as symbols, early scripts, and the first form of the linga, which is often misunder-stood or mocked, yet holds a profound and ancient meaning. This book, the first in a powerful trilogy, brings these fragments together. It reimagines the life of the first yogi, a human who became legend, and a legend who became a god. Drawing from history, Siddha and Ayurveda traditions, archaeology, folklore, and philoso-phy, the narrative follows his life, his leachings, and the timeless wisdom he shared. At a time when humanity faces crifical challenges, his original philos-ophy, simple, compassionate, and deeply human, is more relevant than ever. This is his story, retold for the our times. About the Author Feeling the gentle kicks of a life growing inside the womb is a joy only mothers truly Know, an experience no man can ever truly feel. Yet every day, through my gloved hands, I am granted the privilege of touching that same miracle. The power to create life, to protect it and to end suffering belongs to God alone. But my profession grants me a small share in that sacred duty. I am a veterinarian and I carry that responsibility with humility. Beyond clinical practice, I am also a teacher and researcher. I completed my Master's at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute and earned my doctorate in canine neurology. I now serve as an Assistant Professor at TANUVAS. Writing has been a constant companion in my life. Since 2011, I have been sharing my thoughts through my Tamil blog. My creative interests span mythological retellings, wildlife photography and explorations at the intersection of science, culture, and storytelling. But Tamil literature, southern folklore, and ancient oral traditions present a different picture. This item is printed on demand.
