I am very pleased to be able to offer a now rare copy (only one copy seen online) of: "Dedication of the Restored Old First Church of Bennington, as Vermont's Colonial Shrine, Sunday, August 15, 1937" edited by the Minister of the Church, Dr. Vincent Ravi Booth, acknowledging the Architect of the Restoration, Denison Bingham Hull. This large hard cover book is a numbered (No. 359) copy of a limited edition of 500 copies printed. It is also signed on the limitation page by the Minister. Please see the photos for your infomation. This book is in very good condition. The maroon buckram boards are dust-dulled and bumped but still attractive. The gilt titles on the spine are a bit faded and hard to read. Inside, some one has crossed out the name of a former owner with a pen, sloppily and amateurishly. Fortunately, that is the only mark I found in the book; the interior pages and plates are clean and bright throughout, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and although there is some darkening to them, doubtless from the acids of the binding glues, the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
