Most of these documents are in English but other languages, including French, German, Italian, Swedish, Afrikaans, Chinese and Japanese are also represented. There are indexes of titles, authors and other contirbutors, abd of publishers and printers. . . . . . The author's intention was to compile a comprehensive listing, a catalogue raisonée, of iterature on the game, a later volume (or volumes) taking in fiction touching on croquet, plays, music and anything to do with the game in a variety of media, but it seems that that ambition is yet to be realised. . . . . . NOTE that as the volume weighs some 1.2kg overseas (but not domestic) orders may require a small carriage supplement.
