Blue cloth binding with embossed pictorial of two soldiers on cover with american flag in the background with shield cut out and silver torch in the shield. Flag has some color(blue, silver, red) but is faded. Embossed silver print on cover and spine. All print and cover is slightly faded. Rubwear on corner tips and spine ends. Light wear (color loss) on most edges. Endpapers are lightly tanned with previous owner signature on front endpaper. Rear hinge paper partially split. Otherwise text block is tight, sound, and unmarked. 432 pages.

Blue cloth covered boards with illustrated cover and photo applied to the front panel. lower right corner of the front cover has a spot of fading, abut 1/8" wide and 3/4" tall. No dust jacket. Contains three books in a single volume: 1. Military History of the War; 2. World Issues of the War; and 3. America's Part in the War. 7 x 9 inches, 551 pages, in red cloth-covered boards with gilded Statue of Liberty decoration on front cover and gilt title and liberty bell on spine. Illustrated with numerous reproductions from official photos, as well as maps and drawings. Boards show shelf wear, faded color on spine, lightly bumped corners. Text edges lightly foxed and soiled. Inside cover, first few pages show light foxing, mild damp wrinkling along top edge. Previous owner's name on fep. Boards and text are clean, complete and unmarked, no tears, chipping or creasing, not ex libris. Hinges are intact and binding remains firm. A very decent example of WWI history with an American perspective. [Sorry, due to the book's size and weight, we cannot accept orders requiring priority shipping or from outside the U.S.}.
