Life Cycle Cost Analysis of selected components of the selected building was done taking into account relevant economic factors: initial costs maintenance and operational costs. The maintenance and operational costs are generally ignored in building industry especially during design stage. For this research, the method of LCC present worth cost approach was evaluated with projection of building service life as 60 years, inflation rate as 9.07% and discount rate as 0%. The research work was conducted at College of Science and Technology in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Award of Degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. 84 pp. Englisch.

El Análisis del Coste del Ciclo de Vida de los componentes seleccionados del edificio elegido se realizó teniendo en cuenta factores económicos relevantes: costes iniciales costes de mantenimiento y costes operativos. Los costes de mantenimiento y funcionamiento no suelen tenerse en cuenta en el sector de la construcción, especialmente durante la fase de diseño. Para esta investigación, se evaluó el método del enfoque del coste del valor actual LCC con una proyección de la vida útil del edificio de 60 años, una tasa de inflación del 9,07% y una tasa de descuento del 0%. Die Lebenszykluskostenanalyse ausgewählter Komponenten des ausgewählten Gebäudes wurde unter Berücksichtigung relevanter wirtschaftlicher Faktoren durchgeführt: Anschaffungskosten, Instandhaltung und Betriebskosten. Die Wartungs- und Betriebskosten werden in der Bauindustrie im Allgemeinen ignoriert, insbesondere in der Planungsphase. Für diese Untersuchung wurde die Methode der LCC-Barwertmethode mit einer prognostizierten Lebensdauer des Gebäudes von 60 Jahren, einer Inflationsrate von 9,07 % und einem Diskontsatz von 0 % bewertet.
