hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Hardcover Civil War Centennial Series edition of A History of Morgan's Cavalry by Basil W. Duke, edited with an introduction by Cecil Fletcher Holland. Dust jacket shows moderate wear, including edge wear, small chips, rubbing, creasing, and an old price sticker with residue on the front panel. A larger chip is present at the upper left corner of the jacket, internally clean. Originally published in the nineteenth century, A History of Morgan's Cavalry is one of the classic firsthand accounts of Confederate cavalry operations during the American Civil War. Written by Basil W. Duke, who served as brother-in-law and close subordinate to Confederate cavalry commander John Hunt Morgan, the book chronicles Morgan's raids, campaigns, leadership, and the experiences of his famed cavalry command. It remains an important primary source for students of Confederate military history, cavalry operations, and the Western Theater of the Civil War.
