SIGNED by what appears to be three colleagues followed by ten of his students, indeed with some interesting names amongst the thirteen signatories. Thomas Noel Desmond Cornwall Salmon (1913 - 2013) was the dean of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin. He was educated at Trinity College, ordained in 1938 and served curacies in Bangor, Belfast, Larne, Rathfarnham, before becoming rector of Tullow and later Vicar of St Ann's, Dawson Street Dublin.
