D'Yauville. Originally written in 1788, this impressive work contains information on the various commands used, the types of dog and much more. With a chapter of music scores to the rear of the work, presenting a popular fanfares used in hunting. Illustrated by French painter and engraver, Jean-Baptiste Oudry, known for his life-like pictures of animals and hunting. With a total of twenty-seven engravings, including one double-page plate.
