Condizione: VG. 1st ed. f/piece portrait of Ridgeway with tissue-guard. xxv+656, plates ex-pag. & text figs throughout numbered by chapter, top edge gilt, uncut fore-edge (which has resulted in a few minor marginal cedge chips of little consequence); small faint heraldic 'Coll. De Sion. Many of these attended the dinner on 31st July 1913, the seating plan of which is given on p.648 (80 attending in all, no women though!). A remarkable festchrift with papers on everything from Cicero to black figure vases and German river names to Torres Straits outrigger canoes. Uncommon.
