Black pebbled leather like boards with gold gilt lettering on the front and the spine. It appears to be signed by the author on the ffep stating only Thank you, Earl B. Hager. The dust jacket with the author's picture on the front is in good condition with mininal edgewear, slight creasing and small tears at top spine/back area. Has a small pin-hole tear on the spine. Earl B. Hager was born in 1909, near Gill, West Virginia. He grduated from Berea College Academy and later recieved his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Marshall College. In 1933, Mr. Hager began teaching in the public schools, retiring in 1973. His political career began in 1944, retiring from the West Virginia Legislature in 1973.
