It is written by E.B. Krumbhaar - his only chapter. The photo from this chapter of an (1918) electrocardiograph "station" might be worth the price of the book. It shows the patient with his hands each in a tub of saline, likewise his left foot while in the background there is (e.g.) a rheostat & a string galvanometer, etc - cf. the control room for the Titanic. The authors ( both with backgrounds in Military Medical service) have written XXXI chapters, 759 pages of text and 20 pages of index: a LARGE work. Text is enhanced by B/W photographs of both organs (morbid anatomy) and patients (exhibiting symptoms). Line drawings as well - e.g. of chest cross sections. Several wave-form chart measurements and graphs - e.g. electrocardiograph charts.3 or 4 colour plates of organs (cut-away views) or tissue stains. Cond: Green pebbled cloth exhibits wear only at corners and top and tail of spine. VERY clean,crisp and tight.
