Stowell; soiling and light toning with a few nicks at edges, short tears at spine head and at top of rear panel, front flap's top corner is price-clipped. Light brown/tan boards with black stamped lettering to spine and front board. Several small light stains to dark blue top edge; a few foxing spots to fore-edge and bottom edge. Green-toned pictorial endpapers; impression from past bookseller's erased pencil price notes at front free endpaper's top right corner; pages 13-22 have shallow bumping/creasing at their bottom margins with some associated light foxing spots; interior pages are otherwise clean.
