A fine copy in blue printed wraps. with typescript of Clyde Edgerton typescript titled "The Man in the Canoe" Durham NC (1991) 8pp on 8.5 x 11 copy paper' draft of short story later published in 'Winter Harvest' around 1994. Clyde Edgerton 14 August '95 Orange County, NC" A cover sheet, bearing the stamp of Edgerton's tongue in cheek cover business ("Dusty's Air Taxi"), is dated Aug 21, 1995, and reads in Edgerton's hand: "Dear Bett: Enclosed is a short story ms. I hope it brings you some $. Best, C Edgerton". The entire contents are laid into an envelope address from Edgerton to Bett Sanders of The Writer's Workshop in Asheville, NC. There are 3 stamps to the envelope, but no postmark indicating that it may never have been mailed. There are a few minor edits in red pen, likely Edgerton's. The story in the the printed book is titled "Baby at the Lake" and is much shorter than the manuscript.
