It discusses two views of Gettysburg: The first is a human and sympathetic portrayal of the Confederate Army during the battle by a trained European soldier, Colonel Sir Arthur J. L. Freemantle. The second account is the stirring story of the battle by a participant in the northern Army, Lt. Frank Haskell (said to be "the truly classical account of the Battle of Gettysburg"). Both views are the most interesting accounts of the great battle. Condition: Light bump to the corner of the rear cover; short tear at top of the half-title page. Else, Overall, Very Good Plus.
