Aggiungi al carrello[ARIZONA]. First edition. 8vo. Cloth, green endpapers, viii, 97 pp., frontis., preface, introduction, map, bibliography. Sharlot Hall took office as Territorial Historian of Arizona on October 1, 1909, the first woman in Arizona history to hold public office. Her historic "longest wagon trip" into the then little-known Arizona S…trip was prompted in part by her desire to become familiar personally with historic places in order to write intelligently about all parts of the state. It was also her purpose to be better able to inform her fellow citizens about that "great corner of Arizona" north of the Colorado River that Utah hoped to annex. We highly recommend this story. Fine in dust jacket.
