In 1992 he was awarded the city of Ålesund's art prize --- This book is published by the De La Warr Pavilion on the occasion of Kjell Torriset's exhibition at the De La Warr Pavilion 1 March - 1 June 2003. - The De La Warr Pavilion is a Grade One listed building designed by Erich Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff in 1935.
