Condizione: Fair. 680 p., clean and unmarked on strong paper only faintly age-toned; name of former owner in small hand in upper corner of front end page; gutters cracked but text block firm; clean dark blue boards with clear gilt letteringt on spine have lightly bumped corners and some rubbing at crown and foot of spine. Skillful repair deserved.

8vo (24.5x17cm), hardback, xvi + 503pp; viii + 488pp; x + 244pp. Good condition in goodish dustwrappers (general wear, foxed, creased, bumped, a bit grubby, scuff marks, and: Volume 1- had been stuck down to book at edges, leaving chips to inside edges; Volume 2- a few tears, rubbed. All now have protective covers). Handsome bindings in burgundy leatherette with black title panel to spines. Bumped, mild foxing, owner's label at free front endpapers. Volume 1 has remnants of dustwrapper edges adhering to lower front and left and lower rear edges, offset to free back endpaper; Volume 2 has offsets to free endpapers, upper edges have several marks, grubby, age-toned; Volume 3 has light foxing to upper edge. With b&w diagrams, b&w photographs in Volume 3. These books are heavy and may attract additional postage. Pictures available on request.
