Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Nicolas Bentley (illustratore). 1st Edition. Fifteen short stories by Damon Runyon, selected and with a long Introduction by E.C. Bentley whose son, Nicolas Bentley, drew the pictures. This copy is very good, with the pale grey/beige cloth boards just a little darkened on edges and spine panel. Edges and endpapers slightly browned. A newspaper review of the book by Fred T. Marsh (probably from the New York Times Book Review) has been cut and pasted all over the front endpapers, and there are a also a couple of rubber stamps.
