Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Volume 1, Numbers 1-8. Octavo. Approximately 500 pages. Bound into blue buckram with spine titled in silver, the front cover of the first issue the only wrapper bound in. Binding cocked with modest wear and soil, spine toned with a vertical stain, very good. The text has been nicely preserved. Prints poetry, fiction, and reviews, including "Musical Inference in Poetry" by Parker Tyler, and what appears to be the first appearance of William Saroyan's story "A Night of Nothing," in addition to the work of dozens of other American authors. The magazine's tagline was "Devoted to the American Scene." According to *OCLC*, *Literary America* was apparently published through the end of 1936.
