Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (Number Line to 1). You can see the covers in the photos. They look pretty clean. The gilt lettering on the front and spine is very bright. There's very little wear just a few nicks/scuffs off the bottom edge of the front, another small one off the front side of the spine around halfway down the front. There are just a few tiny spots on the top page edge. The middle page edge is free of soiling. So is the bottom page edge, though it has two tiny pen jags. The book is solidly bound. There are no cracks or spaces between any of the facing pages or between the covers and any of the pages. The interior of the book is exceptionally clean. In scrolling through the pages, I didn't find any instances of soiling. The pages are also nicely bright. There are no attachments. It is NOT ex-library. The previous owner did put a red pen to the contents of the last chapter, pages 496 to 518. There are underlinings, check-marks, and a handful of notes on the white margins. I didn't find any other writing on any of the other pages in the book. There are a good many illustrations throughout. They all appear to be in excellent condition. There's not too much by way of creasing, but I did flatten out a couple of corner creases. That covers condition.
