Fifth edition; first published 1848; compiled by nephew William Henry Channing. Channing (1780-1842) , the subject of the memoir, was a Unitarian theologian. Light rubbing to upper corners; lower corners worn through to boards. Minor loss/flaking to cloth at spine tips; tiny chip to cloth at rear spine edge. Otherwise clean and tight with text block unworn.
