Lacks the front cover and thus no title specifically stated but presumably this is the circa 1940 publication "Views - Natchez, Mississippi." (Ketchings issued several editions/printings of the book through at least circa 1955 but this copy's paper and typeset appears contemporary to circa 1940.) First leaf present features undated publisher's imprint of Tom L. Ketchings Company on verso with blank recto; followed by single page verso essay titled "Natchez History" by Edith Wyatt Moore also with blank recto. Somewhat cumbersome layout to remaining 51 leaves as most feature uncredited b/w photographs on rectos with associated explanatory historical-architectural summaries on flip-side versos (rather than by a more reader-friendly opposing verso/recto layout). Initial image is of St. Mary's Cathedral and concludes with the Gloucester residence owned by Mr. and Mrs. Lenox Stanton. The image/summary sequence varies by edition but this copy has all of the structure summaries and photos which appear in later editions among this bookseller's past inventory so presumably it is complete save for the aforementioned covers. No publishing date provided but Ketchings issued several editions/printings of this book from at least as early as 1940 through circa 1955; three-line ink ownership inscription on page 1 dated for April 19, 1947 so presumably this copy is circa 1945-1947. First leaf recto (page 1) features undated publisher's imprint of Tom L. Ketchings Company immediately followed on verso (page 2) by essay "Natchez History" by Edith Wyatt Moore. Leadoff images (pages 3-4 respectively) are "Air-View of Natchez Business District" and "New Natchez-Vidalia Bridge Spanning the Mississippi River" (which was built 1938-1940). Otherwise most leaves review Natchez and Adams County landmark structures (residences, churches, etc.) with uncredited b/w photographs on versos and associated explanatory historical-architectural summaries on opposing rectos; book concludes with essay "Jefferson College" on recto (page 95).
