Features include highways including under construction, minor roads, caravan routes or pack trails, airstrips, fuel depots, water towers, oil and gas fields, oil pipelines, wells, coastal shoals, reefs drying up, depths, heights, mounds, cliffs, palm groves, dense thickets of shrubs, depressions filled with water during the rains, passable salt marshes, gravel, dune types. Two key diagrams locate each sheet, and demarcate administrative divisions.
