Doornspijk, Davaco Publishers, 2010. 576 pp. 49 col. plts & 393 b./w. ills. Hardcover (blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine), d./j. 4to.- Dust jacket with very light shelfwear; collection stamp on first free endpaper. (Aetas Aurea. Monographs on Dutch & Flemisch Painting, Vol. XXII). - Overall a very good copy. As new.Eglon van der Neer (1635/1636 - 1703) was highly successful in his own lifetime. The book concludes with a catalogue raisonné listing 150 works accepted by the author, and sections with rejected paintings and paintings which are only known from written sources.…
