Existe uma poderosa associação entre a ausência de actividade física, hábitos alimentares errados e a prevalência da obesidade entre as adolescentes do sexo feminino da Universidade de Jouf. Além disso, existe um defeito acentuado no conhecimento dos estudantes sobre o efeito dos factores fisiológicos no peso, embora estas mulheres estejam mais expostas a mudanças fisiológicas neste período de adolescência. Assim, deve ser implementado um programa de educação sanitária diferente em todos os sectores da comunidade para promover o nível de conhecimento sobre os métodos de prevenção da obesidade.
