Kolb, assisted by Nathan Galloway of Utah, of their 1911 Grand Canyon trip in which they produced a 45-minute film documentary. The brothers will take part in a 2nd expedition for the Dept of the Interior to survey the waters from Green River, Utah to Lees Ferry in 1921, and, in 1923 continue on to Needles, California, at which point the entire river was surveyed. The Kolb Brothers' Studio, built 1904, is preserved as an art gallery at the rim of the Grand Canyon. Fine copy less dust jacket. Signed by Emery C. Kolb.
