Ennion. First edition and printing. Book previously belonged to a local society. In very good minus pictorial paper covered boards featuring insects and birds and small mammals to front and back and with white title field to front with black titles. The boards are flat and firm, with sunned spine and grubby around the edges. There is a small stamp for "Banwell Society Of Archaeology' within the title filed with a reference number in pen. The end papers feature black and white illustrations of old tools etc; the front free end paper has stamp for "Banwell Society Of Archaeology' and a reference number. The text block has black and white line drawings by the author and four colour plates by E. A. R. Ennion. The pages are tightly bound, even and clean and in very good condition. No dedications etc. Without jsacket.
